Umphrey's McGee |
Chicago jam band Umphrey's McGee has joined other celebrities in lending a voice to the Family Violence Prevention Fund's RESPECT! Campaign, a movement aimed at preventing domestic violence through an emphasis on respecting one another.
Fans of Umphrey's can go to Giverespect.org and send friends and family personal voice messages from band members Jake Cinninger and Andy Farag for free. While on the site, they can also lend their own virtual voice to the cause by donating or inviting others to the virtual rally for respect.
The band's involvement comes at a key point in the RESPECT! Campaign with October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Umphrey's McGee's next show is tonight (10/17) in Geneva, NY. Complete tour dates available here.
