Widespread Panic
On November 19 Widespread Panic will play to an intimate crowd at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza in New York to benefit the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation.

Panic will be recognized by Billboard Magazine, receiving their first ever "Road Warrior" Award. This honor was conceived to recognize work ethic, steadfast dedication to touring year after year, and a commitment to the art and craft of live performance.

There will be a Widespread Online Ticketing Pre-sale beginning this Thursday October 16 @ 10 a.m. ET. Public ticket on-sale will be this Saturday 10/18 @ 10 a.m. ET online at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

The Bill Graham Memorial Foundation was formed in November of 1991 following the death of the legendary rock impresario Bill Graham. The Foundation awards grants primarily in the areas of music, the arts and education, while also supporting social work, environmental protection, and spiritual and compassionate projects in communities.

Whether you love them or hate them, you have to admit they totally deserve this award. They earned their success the hard way....city after city after city. I can't find another band who has played as many shows as they have all over the country for the last 20+ years. They consistently rank in the Top 20 grossing tours every single year with no air-play. Kudos to them and kudos to their fans for their support. Well done Boys.
