WSP Fillmore NYC Gig "Road Warrior" Award

How come every show with a capacity of under 2000 is described as "intimate" on this website? I was at Mike Gordon's show @ The Iron Horse, which this site also described as "intimate". The Iron Horse is a million times smaller than Irving Plaza. There are other adjectives available to describe a small show!! Anyway... This is going to be AWESOME!!!

sweet! i'm seeing panic for the first time tonight! i'm ready to have my mind blown and my face melted!

Hands down the most overrated band in the jam scene. Ive seen these guys far too many times than Id care to admit and Id be hard pressed to distinguish one set from another let alone one song from another. (And Ive seen them with everyone from Houser to Herring). These guys are a very good example of a group that is super talented and yet completely stagnant when it comes to writing music. Just cause you can solo over a gospely funk groove in E night after night, doesnt mean your a great band. It just means you learned your scales.

The last small Panic show in NYC sold out in 2 seconds, so hopefully they throw a few more bigger venue shows for those of us who arn't luckky.

Whether you love them or hate them, you have to admit they totally deserve this award. They earned their success the hard way....city after city after city. I can't find another band who has played as many shows as they have all over the country for the last 20+ years. They consistently rank in the Top 20 grossing tours every single year with no air-play. Kudos to them and kudos to their fans for their support. Well done Boys.
