Guns N' Roses: Chinese Democracy Set For Release on November 23, 2008
the good 'ole days |
Could it be? Will Chinese Democracy really see the light of day? According to Billboard.com, it's all true - Guns N' Roses will make their ridiculously delayed album available exclusively at Best Buy on Sunday November 23, 2008 (as opposed to the traditional Tuesday release day).
Chinese Democracy will be the sixth studio album by Guns and it will be the band's first album since 1993's The Spaghetti Incident?, and their first record of original studio material since the dual release of Use Your Illusion I and II in 1991.
Leading up to the release, the song "Shackler's Revenge" off the album will debut in the video game "Rock Band 2," while a section of "If the World" will be featured over the end credits in the new Leonardo DiCaprio/Russell Crowe film "Body of Lies."
In other Guns N' Roses news, the band's landmark 1987 debut, Appetite for Destruction, will be reissued on vinyl on October 28 through Interscope.
