GREAT LAKE SWIMMERS ANNOUNCE NEW RECORD AND TOUR DATES
NEW ALBUM SET FOR SPRING 2009
Great Lake Swimmers |
Canadian folkies Great Lake Swimmers have been touring since May, mostly north of the border, including one date when they opened for Robert Plant and Alison Krauss in GLS's hometown of Toronto. Led by Tony Dekker, the band has just announced the anticipated release of their fourth album, set for release in early Spring 2009.
They're also gearing up for the premiere of the Great Lake Swimmers HD Concert Special, which was filmed last September in Toronto. On November 5, the hour-long episode will be screened at select Cineplex Odeon Theaters (all in Canada), alongside the Joel Plaskett Emergency Concert Special.
