i think biscoboy's mom grounded him from the computer after he got busted at that show. now he has to go to the supermarket and spout disrespectful ignorant shit to strangers there to get his attention.

My friend used to work for Modulus and thought they have some basses that are mass produced many are custom. It been years since my buddy workedfor them but he help to build M'shell Ndegeocello's bass. She came out and worked with those constructng the instrument. I had never gone to their website; http://www.modulusguitars.com/v3/. You would probably find your question out there

This looks like it was a lot of fun and to be just a week after Outside Lands, i guess San Fran really knows how to throw a good summer party! I wish that i could've seen Phil or at least Bobby at Outside especially with that one being the 1st major Golden Gate Park festival, but with the look of Phil's sick new bass and the announcement of the reunion i can't wait for DEAD 09

Oh ya, of course Phil's is a custom six string, a bit different that the one in the link. I'm pretty sure ou can find pictures of his at the philzone. What you can kinda tell in these pictures is the little blue light that go up the fret board, at dark this thing is amazing.

Sunday was incredible! John Butler is a master, G. Lover is kind of a dumb clown but his music is still fun, and Phil's set was nothing short of outstanding. It was a great experience for me being a youngster to see an entire set of classic dead tunes for the home crowd

jones4cr ... So that bass is not a modulus?

Space ship is right; Like a vehicle from Barberella

Look at how thin THE SEAL is.

Really cool; I got to hear what they sound like in Phil's hand after hearing him play a Modulus. Well, hearing every great play one.

Well, this is something different... Cool, thanks for the info

hey jones, thanks for the info on phil's amazing new instrument! I went to the ritter website, and was just dumbfounded, really. this guy really is an artist. i did some more digging within that website, which hasnt really been updated too much, but i found that phil lesh's custom six string jupiter was named "The Eye of Horus". Wild stuff man, all of the bases on there are like at least 5,000 euros, which is like, well, i dont know, like 12 million dollars or something in the states. what an amazing instrument.
