I thought I would hate this, but I don't.

I was at the show in San Diego where they played this. It was a pretty good show and it was free. It was at Del Mar so you got to watch the horse races then check out the show.

Can't wait for Radiohead to do this at Outside Lands in a couple weeks!

gnarls is okay, but i think there are definitely other bands that are more deserving of tha praise gnarls receives... i saw 'em open for the chili peppers in Jan'07 and it was good but nothing really to write home about.. they opened with a cover of Space Oddity

People on this website need to understand how difficult it is to create such an original sound like gnarls barkley has. cee-lo is a highly talented vocalist and danger mouse is a dope producer. Sorry they're not posting another crunchy two chord jam for you guys, but it's okay to like something different in addition to jambands.

and since when has Gnarls Barkley been one of the biggest names in music, their new album blows and their last album blew. Both albums had one song on it that got big and how that warrants "biggest name in music" is fucking beyond me.

I saw them when they opened for the chili peppers it was ok but when I saw them at lollapalooza last weekend they were awesome and reckoner was awesome too.

Regardless of taste, just based on hard numbers, Gnarls became one of the biggest acts in music when their debut "St. Elsewhere" went platinum (a million albums sold) and their single "Crazy" became the biggest hit in over a decade and was the first ever single to top the U.K. singles chart purely on download sales. So, like them or not, they are easily one of the biggest bands in the world... Carry on.

Gnarls Barkley doesn't sound like any 70s soul of funk that I've ever heard. It's clearly an original approach. I am far from a hip hop fan but I bought this group's latest album after seeing them play on the late show or something and I have really enjoyed it. Lakai, have you heard it. If not give it 3 spins and you'll know. I'm gonna see them live next week at the 40 watt to see what they're really about.

Danger Mouse is a very talented producer - Demon Days is VERY well done, just about perfect.

cee-lo's vocals are pretty good, but not great. the same can be said for this cover, it's alright. he's getting a lot of help from the reverb. a shirt would be nice, but amen for not giving a shit.

ok, so they can be called "big" but that has nothing to do with the fact that their sound is still contrived and unoriginal maybe I do need to read a book whatever that means, but u need to listen to some real music.

Gnarls > RadioBore.....St. Elsewhere is a classic but the Odd Couple is just as good and is actually pretty mindblowing.

I'm just pleasantly surprised that someone is already covering In Rainbows. Thumbs up in my book.
