^ Yes, much love to the De La. 3 feet high and rising I still play regularly. What a masterpiece! I normally would never criticize a review, but a reunited Tribe Called Quest just gets one sentence?! A groundbreaking hip hop group as the headliner deserves a little more than that.

Yeah not much on Tribe. Method man got more attention in this article by not even showing up. I bet the Cool Kids were nice too!

Not only was cuntryfest (spelled that way for a reason) at foxboro on the same day, but umphreys and sts9 were in boston that night. As tempting as this was, I had to go with umph and soundtribe. This looked pretty cool tho.

Nas is awesome, so is de la soul. But there's not much on tribe here, that's the only problem. tribe called quest is the best rap music around

Nice stab at kanye. I'm glad to see that anymosity towards him has not died down and a "few" people are still holding celebrities accountable for their actions/inactions.

Lord have mercy, what a stout, stout lineup. And yeah, come on, that's all you've got to say about Tribe? Barely anything about De La Soul? And no mention of RAKIM at all?!?!?!?!?! Come on, step it up, fellas. Also, I'll be really disappointed if this page gets filled to the brim with "Aww come on, this is JamBase, not RapBase" posts. RTB is a breath of fresh air.

I was fairly surprised there were no pictures of any of these guys grabbing their crotches.... Can it be that this music genre is evolving? That would be awesome!

...I guess on the other hand, when they are grabbing their crotches, they are truly performing a "solo".

Gotta run...time for me to jam in my one man band.

:)

I too was hoping to read more about De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest... for anyone who claims to dislike "rap" I suggest going old school and enjoying these two hip-hop groups. Also the Quannum label continues to put out quality acts like Blackalicious. I appreciate the review but feel it's missing a key ingredient, mention of De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest!
