This event is sure to rock some socks. The pristine beauty of The Deerfields, a fun lineup, the big-love Trinumeral family, and I've heard they've got a trained bear to MC the event! BOOM!

It's not the same weekend as UM and STS9 in Atlanta, it is the following weekend. I am so there. This line-up is incredible. I already bought my tickets. And apparently every pre-sale ticket includes a raffle entry for a biodiesel run Mercedez.

Yes, PGroove and Gordo are in ATL on the 9th. I'm sorry to miss it, but still would rather see this.

This is going to be an AMAZING festival. If you have not been to deerfields let me tell you... 2 swimable lakes, a 64 foot log stage, hot air baloon rides, geodesic domes, all camping is in apple orchards, 3 stages. They are also giving away an immaculate biodiesel mercedes to one lucky presale ticket buyer.

Jackstraw, you have no idea what you are talking about. Trinumeral has been going on for a hot minute just never at deerfields before. I have been to deerfields a lot and have never seen a hotair baloon or a geodesic dome or a third stage so I don't know what that is all about either.... this festival will be nice but ya'll are fluffin this one way too much. Still a better line-up than am-jam tho and cheaper somehow too.

The geodesic dome I can't speak about, however there will in fact be a third stage, deep in thee woods, as well as another "major headliner to be announced" gee, I wonder who that will be...

Galactic still plays most of the set by themselves and then Boots comes out to guest MC, as I understand it. It's cool for me cuz you still get to see Galactic play their own set most of the time.

Damn. I wish I had seen this earlier. Already have my ticket for the show in ATL and a most friends are going there. I would almost hate to do it but am considering getting rid of the ATL ticket and if I can not find anyone else to go here just go by my self. Hate to not carpool

So is Particle playing as a trio or will they have a guitar player sit in with them? Just curious. Also, not to rain on anyone's parade, but don't get your hopes up too much for the Matt McDonald solo PA set. I think he's a great musician and loved his contributions to PGroove, but his mixing skills left a bit to be desired when I saw him open up for a band here in Jersey a week or two ago. He'll get there eventually.

Anyone who has never been to a Trinumeral before needs to scrap whatever other plans they had, and go to this... Every year it just gets better and better. This year looks like the biggest ever. I know this is a music site, but the big thing about Trinumeral is that it also gives the visual and performing arts just as much attention as the music. I hear they are going to have an Art Gallery and exhibition on site as well.

Check out the Arts section of the Trinumeral website. They have a huge amount of artists involved. I know that Jen Isis, who did set design for STS9's festival there last summer is the art director for Trinumeral. We have mutual friends and I hear the art is going to be the bomb diggity. I'm super stoked! For those of you who are not familiar with Deerfields, it is the best outdoor music venue I have ever been to by a long shot. I go to festivals there even when I don't like the line-up just because of how magical a place Deerfields is. And as for Trinumeral's line-up: Galactic, Conspirator, Lotus, GZA, and Midnite is more than enough for me to go to a festival and most of this other stuff is real solid too.

If I still lived down there I'd probably go. Any midwest kids thinking about this should think about Summerdance at Nelson Ledges at the end of July. Lotus (2 sets) and Eoto, Spam Allstars, DJ HArry two nights, Telepath, ect..and the price is $45. I'm sorry but 150 dollars for this lineup? They had better add Tribe or someone. The late nights at Nelson are weak, I think because it's a permanent venue, but that gives you time to meet new people, share your kindness, ect.

The LOKI Fest is gonna rock though. Def. will be there for that. Talk about funk, and the time of the year is right for that!! Plus some friends of friends are playing there. Lettuce!! Col. Bruce, Roots, PBS, Toots, Toubab, unreal.

I heard thru the grapevine that they just added DR FAMOUS... Bisco drummer Allen Aucoin's side project ... there is a lot of bisco here ... could we possibly see a surprise bisco set....?

Ill be there as a volunteer staff!!! also ill be at SUmmerdance with EOTO and Lotus and much more the weekend before! if ur at nelson ledges for summerdance ill be the kid posting tri posters everywhere and handing out flyers!!! see yall there!!

Dr Famous would be awesome. I hope that one comes through as well. And to agree with some of you about are the live art going on....oh yeah! I have a feeling this one will be one for the books as far as the southeast is concerned. TaDow!
