i love Eddie, but $75 is WAY to much.

For someone who fought ticketbastard and high ticket prices this is kinda weak. Oh well....

I would absolutly love to go to this but 75 bucks come on. I don't even think Pearl Jam charges that much for their tickets. Ridiculous, but still an amazing musician and the Into the Wild soundtrack is incredible.

It was $75 for the Pearl Jam show in Tampa after all the Ticketmaster and venue charges. And that was for all 5 members. Just Eddie for $75??? It was a great show, but I can't see paying that for him alone.

Eddie Vedder is awsome but $75 is too much. Is there anybody else out there that feels the same way I do or am I alone on this one?

$75?

come on, Ed. I can see you with Pearl Jam for half that. A Vedder solo show would be a dream but i'm a little disappointed in that price.

Tom Waits was $85 on his most recent tour (100 w/ charges). It would be nice to see Eddie in a setting like this, but what are you thinking man?!

yeah the "Into The Wild" music is awesome, but i just cannot justify paying 75 bucks to see Eddie. Remember that's just for the show...no one has mentioned the $4 + a gallon to drive to the show...you would think that of all people Eddie would take this into account, being that he is all about the environment.

I saw the first night in Berkeley earlier this year and it was well worth whatever I paid. Neil Finn opened (not sure who'll be opening for these shows) and delivered a solid set of rock before Eddie took stage and played for at least two hours straight. He dug in and played his ass off (Walking the cow, Trouble, Lukin...yeah, fuckin' Lukin!) and not just the Into the Wild material. He was intelligent and engaging and the whole night was well worth the cost.

I have to agree with gamecat, to hear the man that fought TM charging that much is a stinkin' joke. The only way I'd pay that much is for a band with an insane light show, and kickin music...(when I say insane light show, I mean on the level of pink floyd or tool) if the band shells out extra money to make the show that much better, I'll shell out the extra money to see them. I was iffy when Prince wanted 80$$ a ticket, but when I got there, he was handing out entire copies of his new album at the door for free, and the lights and stage were some of the best I've ever seen...that kinda stuff is worth it. But eddie strumming out bar chords, not so sure. Ethically, I think it should be 30$ or less. Keep on rockin in the free world, eddie.

I attended 2 solo shows on the west coast and they were unreal. When you get there you will get a free program that will detail some very worthy causes to which much of your ticket price is being donated to. Is $75 really too much to see one of the greatest musicians of all time perform in an intimate venue???? I mean really mow a couple lawns like you are 10 years old again and you got your $75

$75?!? Eddie your ego doth protest too much. ....oh yeah and Into the Wild was a pretty crappy movie too. C'mon, you support that douche nozzle (Jambase.com's word of the year) Sean Penn's movie.

I don't post here very much but all you that are complaining about the ticket price I would like to say thank you. Tickets just went on sale for dc and with me and my girlfriend trying we were only able to score two tickets for sunday night. Now they are gone. So you cheap people opened up that little window for me to get mine since you didnt clog up the system. Thank You, thank you, thank you. You will be missed at this one.

Not so sure about the cheap thing, and certainly not denying that Eddie is supporting some causes. You could, however, sell reasonably priced tickets and have the right to donate to the charities of your choosing... no? I donate a fair amount of money every year to different charities, I don't feel I need to start having those donation amounts tacked on to ticket prices. Its probably just me though...

Most people that were seated around my wife and I in Berkeley had bought their tickets on the secondary market and paid twice what we did. If the cost is too much, buy 4 and sell two of 'em!

Whaaaaaa! Quit yer crying! How stupid you all sound bitching about the prices. Aside from a portion of that going to his charities - which I'm perfectly fine with personally, a lot of these ticket increases your seeing are widespread to cover many costs that obviously our crappy economy has attributed to. Times are tough, if you cannot afford it, don't go. Or as someone else said quit cryin and go mow some lawns, lol. You know when phish comes back they'll be charging 75 at least too I am sure!

That isn't to say that I too have my issues w/ pearl jam and eddie using TicketBastard because that I think is bullshit..And while I know there are other ticketing options out there..>I am just gonna assume there MUSt be some damn good reason they use them...i still understand THIS frustration tho.

If you don't like TicketBastard, Do what I did....get em thru the 10club...if you know how to do it 'right' for the presale, your golden. I got 2/3 and i'm stoked for the shows! See ya in Milwaukee and Chicago 1 :)

Id pay 75 bucks for another Phish show for sure! But theres no way in hell Id pay 75 bucks to go see Trey by himself- I dont consider myself cheap at all- If it was $300 bucks and I said that was ridiculous would that still make me cheap though...gotta draw the line at some point- I do remember Eddie boycotting ticketmaster back in the day though- I would like to know exactly how the economy plays into this one though- come on dude-
