Wow, .... Well, I'm glad to see YMSB, and B&R Duo, Umelt and American Babies, Abby and Bela. But does anybody else think this is quite a week lineup? Meh!!!!!

Levon and The Bridge are great too. Cant really comment because I'm not really into Moe so I wouldn't have been going anyway.

I've never been to moe.down, but if I were, I would be going for moe. The other bands would simply be a bonus for me. This is their festival, and they are taking a break after these shows. Why would they want to bring in a band that would potentially outshine them??? YMSB, the Duo, Bela, adn Cornmeal would be great warmup shows before moe takes the stage.

Its a great line up for a 105 bucks! That is a great price to see 12 bands that I really like. Its not that far of a drive either so gas wont be an issue. Nice

Well, Rivertrancer makes a good point about bonus bands and that MOE is taking a break after this fest, so it should be there fest. Point taken. Well, that just means I'll eat diner during PUSA and Fishbone. I get it, Fishbone can be Funky as hell, and that's cool. Just not my thing. And I really like Bela, and Uncle Earl (Abby Washburn). But she's doing some weird and obscure stuff in this project. I will be interested in hearing how Levon's voice sounds after all these years. I know he'll be a draw up there. I love Yonder, U-Melt, B&R Duo, The Bridge. I look forard to seeing American Babies for the first time. Maybe ya'll are right about the price. Sorry I was so hard to begin... I've just come to expect great things from this festial, as I've been to so many. Still looking forward to it.

this lineup looks pretty damn good. i would love to see the p of USA i've been dying to see them since i was a teen. that would be such an interesting show. i don't know how many songs i would know besides that one cd, but that cd is a good one.

ironically, while all the moe. guys are family-oriented, this is one festival that is absolutely phenomenal but that I would enjoy w/ my kidless, and/or single tour/music friends. It's a great festy in upstate ny, but there's some 'fun' all around...so, fwiw. Also, don't go for the others acts. seriously. They are like dip-top or sprinkles on top.....Go for moe. Especially w/ the looming 'break' the guys are taking. GO TO MOE.DOWN TO CELEBRATE MOE.!!

Wish I could be there, but NY is too far away. Sweet line-up MOE. will rock it. There about to take a break and it's there own festival so I expect they will be just amazing. I just hope that someday we get a YONDER.DOWN and get a sweet fest. with Yonder headlining, and other greats opening. Anyway, wish I was there and $105 is very cheap.

I second what johnnygoff said - moe.down is a serious f-in' party. Been six times myself and I may not be able to make it this year which breaks my heart especially with the upcoming break. moe. shreds my cerebrum. I personally like the eclectic line-up with smaller bands that it usually has (it is often a good place to catch up and comers, especially in the beer tent - I've found out about a lot of cool bands at the .down). I think this year's line-up is pretty solid. So many great memories of this fest - although some admittedly are a bit fuzzy. I can't recommend it enough.

GIMME MOE.!!! anyone who tries to bash this festival is out of their skull. I hail from buffalo(as does moe.) and we take our moe. very serious around these parts. Im not saying moe is the be all to end all of bands or even jambands for that matter, but they are incredible at what they do and they are truly a fantastic group of guys. And the point has already been made that we might not see moe. for a little while after this. Needless to say i will make it out to moe. down in full form. MOE=THE GOOD. ps im fuckin pumped they added the duo, fuckin pumped indeed

Stoked to come out for yet another Moe.down!

Regardless of the lineup, moe. plays 5 sets and there are awesome sit ins throughout the week. Festivities of mayoral debates, wookies climbing up the hill in the mud, straight moe. phamily will draw the real moe.rons. The spunion nitris mafia will hopefully stay away and moe. can leave us with a good taste in our mouth for tour '09!!!!!!

See you in Turin!!!!

Its a decent lineup...but come of fluffers...its extremely lacking. No late night dance grooves, no reggae daytime spliff music, and a handful of halfway ok "I might see them if they are playing down the block for $10 bands. Don't get me wrong, I dig the Moe and they will surely be missed...but going out for the season should have been a bang and its going to be a bip. Levon, YMSB, the Bridge, Cornmeal are good...but its gonna be a sleepy one come late night.

If Levon was not there it would be the worst lineup of any festival i've seen this year.

Good to hear more and more fans are finding out about how awesome the Bridge are! Moe. 1st connected w them at All Good last year, and Al said a few weeks back at the Stone Pony that they were one of his fav bands. (He also joined them on stage) Then at All Good this year, Mike Gordon joins them on stage, and also told them after that their set was the best one he saw that day. For those that haven't seen the Bridge that are hittin Moedown this year, GET EXCITED!!!!

barneylee is quite correct in praising the bridge. they tore their 1am set apart at allgood and mike gordon joining them on stage onlt sweetened their already headie sound. they are headlining a festival in warsaw, new york along with the new deal, and its only 50 dollars for 3 days. check it out everybody!!

All you lineup complainers need to lay off. Every festival thread on this site is littered with them. If you dont think you will have fun at a festival, stay away, and quit your bitchin. Long live moe.

It is a great lineup to bad moe is taking a break after this years moe.down, i was listening to sirius radio and they were on there talking about how they are breaking up after moe down they refuse to call it a hiatus, but they said they are taking a break.

If I was a huge MOE fan, I would want them to play the festival with nothing but MOE, just like Pgroove does for amberland. Its just a good idea. I think.

moe.down9 is moe.down9 for me and give me a break with your isn't this a "week" lineup blah blah yapp.....do you really need every festival to spoon feed you a late night rave tent, 10 different big bands, a member of Phish or it's a crap lineup? Go up there and organize a drum circle, or blast some tecno after moe. is finished at 2am. nobody is going to stop you. When moe.down started there weren't many weekend festivals going on, now there are 3 every weekend from april thru september. It's tougher to book bands. I'm sure moe. would love to book the rolling stones and bob dylan for the beer tent, but bands are booked and or busy.let's just friggen go hang out with towley and a few thousand moe.rons and have a sick weekend.
