Surprise Me Mr. Davis Tour

Surprise Me Mr. Davis Tour

Surprise Me Mr. Davis
The poignantly artistic collaboration known as Surprise Me Mr. Davis, comprised of The Slip and Nathan Moore, will be kicking off their West Coast run at High Sierra Music Festival over 4th of July weekend.

Born out of chance, Surprise Me Mr. Davis has been capturing the hearts and minds of audiences around America since their inception in 2003. The band offers up a musical journey unlike any other. With two studio releases under their belt and five years worth of memorable performances, the Mr. Davis repertoire and live show has blossomed in recent years. Surprise Me Mr. Davis delivers a road show full of magic tricks, blazing guitars, and dressy clothes, not to mention some of the most lyrically potent songs you will hear.

SMMD will be bringing out on the road San Francisco's Big Light for their California tour. Having been joined by Nathan Moore at their inception makes this a very serendipitous and much anticipated billing.

You can tour California in a weekend... This is more of a run like they said.

They did an east coast run about a month back .... Real good stuff. It's a collaboration, and members have other bands/or solo work they also are obligated to work out as well. I think we'll be seeing/hearing quite a bit more form SMMD, as it becomes in time. the members primary focus, which seems to be where it's going ... I hope. See ya back on the East Coast soon fellas.

Mr. Davis is where it's at, though I do miss The Slip too... These shows are sure to be the bomb! I'll be at Moe's and Du Nord. Big Light is also evolving quite nicely as well...

a run is when a band plays the same venue more than a couple days in a row. this isnt a run at all. its a tour. plain and simple.

Plain and simple, this is a RUN. It is SMMD playing in the same STATE for a few days. To all those that have not experienced Davis yet, do yourself a favor, and GO!! The Slip and Nathan are the most humble, TRUE musicians on the scene today....they do it for the CORRECT reasons....plus they are good people. Get ready to see a new album from these guys sooner than later. See you in S.C/S.F!!!
