Head for the Hills, the rapidly rising newgrass quartet from Colorado sets forth on their 2008 Summer tour making many stops, including a performance at Yonder Mountain String Band's Northwest String Summit, Yarmony Grass, and Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion. This large summer tour sees the young band crossing festival paths with such heavyweights as: Yonder Mountain String Band, Keller Williams, Sam Bush, Doc Watson, Peter Rowan, and many more.
July takes the band through Montana, the Pacific Northwest, and down the Western Coast. In August, the band heads north conjoining with Billy Nershi (SCI) for a string of performances in Minnesota and North Dakota. September takes the band to the southeast for a pair of performances at the highly esteemed Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion.
On the heals of a sold performance at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre with special guest Billy Nershi, Head for the Hills takes the stage at the Aggie Theatre in their hometown of Fort Collins on September 26 to close out the summer's festivities.
