The Frequency Summer Tour

The Frequency Summer Tour

The Frequency
Los Angeles-based experimental rock group The Frequency is pleased to announce their 2008 Summer Tour dates in support of the new album
We Are The Same Machine.

The band, which has garnered critical acclaim from such publications as The Dallas Morning News and Live Daily, is described as a group based upon a love of Moogs, the sound of a real Fender Rhodes piano and vintage Fender amps, with the collective sound a reflection of things old and new.

A song from The Frequency, "Jim Gordon Part II", can be currently heard in the new Blackberry commercial, which will feature the track in its yearlong, worldwide advertising campaign. The upcoming tour will see the band playing shows with Primus, Matisyahu, The Bravery, and many others.

I am not at all familiar with Frequency, but the track above is definitly worth a listen if you have ever liked Pink Floyd. The guitar work sounds very remniscent of Gilmour's guitar work. I think I would like to see their live show. Now to check and see if they have any recordings in the archive. -peace

Toaster my friend, download some high quality Frequency here -- http://brooklynvibes.com/?p=13

These guys are phenomenal. Their music is like 10,000 oceans washing over you on a hot July afternoon. It's like being immersed in a swimming pool of calamine lotion when you have chicken pox. It's like the feeling you got the first time you really got high, plus the feeling the first time you had sex, all multiplied by the feeling of that time your local sports team won the championship.

Cheese rocks my world, but if my darkest fears are confirmed and Cheese is lost to the world, it's good to know that the Frequency are out there setting the bar for all other rock bands across the land today.
