That looks absolutely unreal. No one does it like the good ol' dead hands down. I agree MoeJoe 5 sets...wow just wow. Can't wait for Phil to grace the stage at All Good this year. Wooo!
i was there on the 16 for my bday. prob. one of the best bdays of my life for sure. will never forget it. San Francisco is pretty much one of the coolest and best cities ive ever been to in my life. wouldnt mine living there..
Now THIS is a review! Not just a regurgitation of the setlist, but an opinion of what rocked, what didn't, and why. Well done indeed.
Viva la Warfield!
I'm going to throw a toothbrush on stage for Jackie at Rothbury
I was thinking the same thing Mike, he looks like he came over from London.
West coasters are SOOO spoiled!!! Damn I would have loved to see this!!
I agree acomma!!!!!! jesus!!!
nice pics Sue and a great write up all around. thanks.
man the east coast gets a lot of stuff we dont get though!
great pics and review. I was at all 5 shows, what a great tribute to the Dead, Bill Graham and the Warfield. I really liked Tuesday and Friday's shows, they played a lot of stuff the Dead never did. All the shows were good. They served us breakfast at 5am Monday morning on some nice comfy couches. What a night! I'll miss the Warfield and all the good times there.
Long live the Grateful Dead! (&Phil too)
greatest rock 'n roll band ever! good ole greatful dead. high times for sure.
the althea was sick
Awesome review and amazing photo's. I caught the last 3 and was so happy I did. Of course all 5 would have been amazing but wow. They left us wanting more and more and definitely a nostalgic night sunday at the warfield. That althea was fantastic as well as the MOTMoon and the UBC!!! Such a good time I wish it never ended.
Thank You Phil and the Warfield Staff who seemed like they were having a great time inside.
It was pretty cool, in a very emotional way. For those at the last show the staff was having a pretty good time, most of the rule were off (what were they going to do, fire us?) and we were all more intent on doing one last show together than anything else.
But its not over, and its not done. So LiveNation lost the lease. Its going to be AEG and that's not all bad, the old girl could use a few million to spiff her up, a lot of the staff is going to go over to the new company, and the stagehands will most likely stay as it looks like they will sign a union contract. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
wow. this looks ridiculous. can june 19th come any slower?
I am the luckiest girl in the world to have been right up front for the last three nights! Thanks for the awesome reviews & pictures. Jackie Greene rocks!
