Outkast's Big Boi At Work On Solo Album
Outkast's Big Boi is close to finishing his first solo album, Sir Luscious Left Foot ... Son of Chico Dusty. While few details are known, Big Boi recently told Billboard.com that he's "shooting to finish the album by the end of August" and it should be out later this year. When asked what fans can expect he said, "This album is Big Boi to the extreme. It's like a recession special. I'm talking about what's going on in the world, with everything from rising gas prices to the election. It's just my insights on life up to this point."
In case you haven't heard the first single, it's called "Royal Flush" and features Big Boi's homeboy Andre 3000 and Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon and it is most certainly what the kids like to call dope. Lucky for you, we're showing off this fresh track right here:
Billboard also reported that Big Boi's collaboration with the Atlanta Ballet, "Big" debuted last month. Apparently if all goes well Big Boi is taking his ballet on an international tour. I guess there ain't much that dude can't do.
