Hankering for some live Phish? It may be a while. But the phab phour themselves have recognized their own gaping hole, and are filling it up with crisp, clear concerts. Recorded ones. Devising the plan shrewdly in the thick of its hiatus, Phish lives on with the release of its highly anticipated Live Phish series. Sure to please its voracious fan base, the timing ensures sales to skyrocket in this Phish-deprived summer. Comprised of six complete, multi-CD concert albums, to be released at a six-month clip, the band has revealed the list of dates that will commence the ongoing collection. Longtime Phish artist Jim Pollock is featured prominently in the series. When all arranged together, they form a panoramic Pollock illustration. A deluxe, three-ring organizer, included with the sixth installment, will hold all the folded sleeves (have no fear, Live Phish 06 will also be available separately).
