In addition to streaming their stellar new single "Soul on Fire" (check it out here) off their upcoming May 26 release Songs In A&E, Spiritualized will also drop a deluxe book and double vinyl version in June.

May 6 will see the official release of the first single, "Soul on Fire," and a live version that was recorded at Union Chapel will be available for download if you pre-order it on iTunes. Additionally, if you pick up the whole album on iTunes then you will also get "Harmony 2 Extended."

April 29 will find iTunes offering an exclusive five-track EP titled iTunes Live: London Sessions, featuring material recorded on March 8 at the iTunes Festival in England.

These guys good live? They're playing in my town tonight. Anyone have any opinions that they want to share about seeing them live? Honesty is welcome.

I haven't seen them since the late 90's. That being said, they were incredible! Big orchestral sound, very psychedelic, and quite trippy.

Whoa Hoodoo, you have a town, you must be very successful. Ha, just kidding, these guys sound pretty awesome, I would definitely go see them, well judging from the clip above I'm listening to. How many musicians are in the band?

Spiritualized is one of the most amazing bands i've ever heard. def. check them out if possible this tour. they are amazing live and in the studio. 2001's Let It Come Down is my personal favorite with 1997's Ladies And Gentlemen... being a close second.

Thanks...I did check them out last night. It was actually an acoustic show...with a string orchestra. I was expecting something a little more psychedelic but it was still pretty sweet nonetheless. There was only like 200 people at the show too. I felt kinda bad for the band because the place was so damn empty. I guess a lot of their fans probably hit up Coachella.
