I was there is DC, OAR was horrible, Umphreys was awsome, and it poured like crazy. They cancled the rest after Warren played one or two solo songs. But a good time running through puddles in the Capitol.

Even the OAR's bassist is bored by OAR.

delaneyira is an idiot. no shit tommy lee sucks. im sure mickey hart showed him up. its not a big deal. everytime someone doesnt really fit the "jam scene" does not mean we should kill him. this scene is going from accepting to elitist in 40 years because of stupid people like delaneyira who happens to be a racist as well.

It was a good show in D.C even though 1/2 was canceled. O.A.R. acoustic was a great surprise and I loved the Dylan cove "The Times Are a Changin'" . Mamabo Sauce was ok not that I'm a big fan of Hip-Hop. Umphrey's set was way too short but great with "In the Kitchen" & "Plunger" being highlights. Warren's solo set was excellent but again too short. The rain was a big drag but at least it gave us a chnce to hang and talk with some of the luminaries there. I'm looking forward to next year.

Arthur, Kudos on the photos, they look great.

funny that so many of the artists had green apple fests in their home towns, yet played one of the other cities.

"Ludacris is wondering if hell survive with all these white people around." You've got to be kidding me. That picture of Bret Dennen does look pretty scary.

I was at the SF show, Good Time. Bobby and Mickey opened the set with a chill 'Blackbird' and during 4:20 Kang was up there playing 'Friend of the Devil' with the boys, amazing. Then randomly Tommy Lee was up there, then Jon Fishman then a trashed Joan Baez started dancing like she though she was in her 20's. Late night show at 1015 Folsom was pretty good with Symbotic Orchestra, although the female singers kind of blew it.

I enjoyed the review alot. Thats terrible to hear about the young punks giving Wavy Gravy a hard time. Jerks. The pic of Wier and Hart is awesome. It looks like they are having a great time.

DC was an experience... I am bummed to have missed Umphreys, arrived just in time to have various speakers comment on how "awesome" we all were to come and brave the weather. Then they all proceeded to tell us how BEAUTIFUL it was in all the other locations. I guess I got to hear 3 Warren Haynes songs, but then the "ground lightning" forced everyone off the mall and running for cover, hahaha. I will say, tho, burning one at our nation's capital on the mall huddled under the refuge of an umbrella was definitely a memorable 4:20 experience not to be soon forgotten!
