Roots of Creation: Live Volume 1

Roots of Creation
Harmonized Records announces the upcoming release of Roots of Creation's Live Volume 1. The sound captured on the album is the result of years of absorbing diverse influences into their bedrock of "jam-meets-reggae."

Featuring a spirited cover of Elvis Costello's "Watching the Detectives" along with incendiary versions of fan favorites like "Rise Up" and "Proggae," plus previously unreleased gems like the steamy album-opener "Oh Lord," there's no better representation of ROC's recently perfected, bigger, badder sound than the fast-paced experience of Live Vol. 1. From addictive reggae pop songs to consciously charged roots rhythms and berserk electronic improvisations, the grace and precision with which ROC execute their bass-heavy works is overwhelming.

CD hits stores and digital outlets on July 8. The first 25 fans to pre-order from www.HomeGrownMusic.net also get a limited edition autographed poster and a link to download an exclusive bonus track!

huh. that's funny. I saw these guys probably six years ago at my high school. Didn't know they were still around. Don't remember much about the show, but it's cool they're making it.

The roots of creation are sick and like a fine wine, have only improved with age.
