Railroad Earth Album/Tour

Railroad Earth
Anticipation has been building for a new release and for the first time in four years, Railroad Earth found themselves back in the studio recording all new material. It's definitely a home-grown project, much like the band itself. Railroad Earth's new studio release, Amen Corner, was written and recorded at Lone Croft: an empty, 300 year-old house in New Jersey's rural countryside. What happened inside the building was the experience of a lifetime for the band's members, resulting in an early creative pinnacle of a gifted young band, and an album that could be an Americana classic. Amen Corner is a collection of crisp and crafted roots, bluegrass, and acoustic sides that resonates in all the right places. The tunes breathe both on and between the notes. They hit you immediately, but then linger like a good buzz. Look for Amen Corner to hit on June 10, 2008 on SCI Fidelity Records.

TOO SWEET! The official release day and two shows in one night. You just can't beat the Vintage Vinyl In Store Performance/Meet And Greet in the Loop. I have seen and met a lot of really great bands like there from Robert Randolph doing an improv number they wrote on the tour bus arriving in St. Louis to Yonder treating us to a nice little 30 minute hoedown in the aisles. CAN NOT WAIT!!!

RRE is the red in my heart....How I do miss them!! cant wait to spend another memorable monumental moment with them in the great Music Hall of High Sierra....a year without them is too long. I'll be at every norcal date in the fall, too. Cant wait to hear this new album, which is long overdue. Leave the tricks and gimmicks at home....RRE is coming to town!
