The Folk Music Center proudly presents the 28th Annual Claremont Folk Festival on Saturday May 3 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Sycamore Elementary School, 225 W. 8th St. in downtown Claremont, CA. Bring the family and enjoy musical workshops, dance workshops, craft vendors, international cuisine and three stages of live music including children's entertainment with Angela Lloyd, Dan Crow, The Happy Crowd, and Uncle Ruthie. The main stage will feature Da Lion, The Bladerunners, Yuval Ron, Joel Rafael and Squeakin' Wheels. In addition there is an evening performance starting at 6:30 p.m. with Jackson Browne and Taj Mahal, and a special guest Master of Ceremonies.
Other events include the Maypole dance, drum circle, a raffle, sustainability gallery, and more.
Tickets available now at www.claremontfolkfestival.org. General admission $50. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by parents.
