Jazz Aspen Announces Artists For Both June and Labor Day Festivals

Jazz Aspen Snowmass has announced the initial list of artists for its two summer festivals. The jazz-centric June festival will take place at Aspen, CO's Grande Park from June 19-22, while the rock and jam focused Labor Day event will be held at Snowmass, CO's Town Park August 28-September 1. Both festivals will feature artist additions in the coming months.

Sounds great.....I'll be there....2 nights of Panic and then Yonder with Jerry Douglas.....No reason not to make the trip out from Boulder

Looks sick. I have bashed WSP on this site many times. I have finally figured out why people are into them. They're pretty damn good. Cant wait to see them in Houston may 2nd. Hope to hear Blue Indian....

I like your profile photo Mike Savage. That show (Comes a Time) was fucking amazing. It's a rare occasion when you see members of String Cheese, Phish, Grateful Dead + Warren Haynes + Bruce Hornsby on stage together.

Dispatch, i think it's neither. i read it as jerry douglas then yonder, though it wouldn't be improbable for jerry douglas to sit in with them for a few tunes.

for those confused by the name, it refers to the 'society' or the organization that puts on the festival not to the featured style--though the earlier summer festival does tend to be more jazz-centric.

looking forward to belly-up late night show info.
