WHAT: To celebrate the release of The Black Crowes' new album, Warpaint, the band's frontman Chris Robinson will take over SIRIUS' Jam_ON channel for an entire day. Robinson will play tracks off of the band's new album as well as some personal favorites.
Chris, a noted Grateful Dead fan, will also guest DJ on SIRIUS' Grateful Dead Channel later in the week. He will share his personal Grateful Dead memories and play his favorite Dead songs.

MORE: Jam_ON is SIRIUS' non-stop jam band festival. The channel features live performances and music from great jam bands, both past and present. Artists that can be heard include Phish, Grateful Dead, The String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews, Robert Randolph and more.
The Grateful Dead Channel, dedicated to the music and legacy of the Grateful Dead, launched exclusively on SIRIUS Satellite Radio in 2007. The channel features music spanning the entire career of the Grateful Dead with unreleased concert recordings and original shows hosted by band members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann. The channel also features archival interviews with Jerry Garcia and contributions from Grateful Dead expert David Gans and Dead archivist David Lemieux.
