This wonderful good news was just reported by the family of celebrated guitarist Mark Karan:
"We are thrilled to tell everyone that after his recent scan, the docs say Mark is CANCER FREE! He will have to go back for periodic scans, and check in regularly, but we have every reason to celebrate! The good vibes from this community were overwhelming – we can't thank you enough for the constant stream of love, support, prayers, meditations and offerings you sent. They kept us strong during a difficult year, and allowed Mark to rest, heal, and focus on a journey of positivity and enlightenment. Can't thank you ALL enough! So, onward in music, joy and life."
Karan returns to the road with Bob Weir & RatDog starting March 21 at the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium in St. Paul, MN. Karan is also working on completing a new Jemimah Puddleduck studio album this year.
