Wilco, Panic At The Disco, MMJ, David Bowie, Bob Dylan Set For "Heroes" Soundtrack

Although NBC's hit TV drama "Heroes" is taking a break, the show will release its first original soundtrack next month.
Set for release on March 18, the album which will feature exclusive singles from Wilco ("Glad It's Over"), Panic At The Disco ("Nine in the Afternoon"), My Morning Jacket ("Chills"), Imogen Heap ("Not Now But Soon") and Brighton Port Authority featuring Iggy Pop ("He's Frank"), as well as classic selections from Bob Dylan ("Man in the Long Black Coat"), David Bowie ("Heroes") and others.
The soundtrack will also contain the "Heroes" theme and three other songs by former Prince collaborators Wendy & Lisa as well as Jesus and Mary Chain's "All Things Must Pass," the band's first new studio recording in a decade.
In addition, "Heroes" executive producer/director Allan Arkush has created five music videos featuring footage from the show and select tracks from the album. These will be available as free downloads at Zune Marketplace online store and for streaming at MSN.
The soundtrack, being released through NBC Records, will be available in CD format at Best Buy stores and digitally at Zune and other digital service providers.
