Bisco April Southeastern Run

The Disco Biscuits April Southeastern Run Announced!

The Disco Biscuits
The Disco Biscuits and MCP are proud to bring to you the Spring 2008 southern run: "The Three Hour Tour."

Starting in Charleston, SC on April 16 at the new and improved Music Farm and ending in Asheville, NC on April 20 at the premier Southeast venue The Orange Peel, this five show run is between cities all within three hours of each other. This "easy as apple pie" southern tour was constructed with the die-hard fan in mind.

On April 17, Bisco will stop in for a romp at the new Neighborhood Theatre (with a full main room dance floor with VIP tables, Bottle service, and a full liquor bar) in Charlotte, before heading down for a weekend two-night run at the old stomping grounds in Athens, The Georgia Theater. And culminating with a 4/20 blowout like you have never witnessed at the amazing Orange Peel.

The night before our Three Hour Tour begins, on April 15, the band will make a quick stop-over in Falls Church, VA, trying on the State Theater for size. After decimating the Boulder Theater in Colorado, the guys in Conspirator commented that the State Theater in Virginia was pretty much the same room, and the wheels were set in motion to take the roof off of that venue as well!

Tickets for the run will be on-sale tomorrow, February 7, at BiscoTix, and on Saturday February 9 at venue websites.

MCP INC., aka Meatcamp Productions, a company run by the fans for the fans, has always had your perspective in mind when putting together runs of shows. And on that note, the Disco Biscuits and MCP are proud to bring to you the Spring 2008 southern run, "the Three Hour Tour".

Starting in Charleston, SC (thanks for all the email requests for a show, your emails worked), and ending in Asheville, NC, this five show run is between cities all within THREE HOURS of each other. This "easy as apple pie" southern tour was constructed with the die-hard traveling tour kid in mind.

On April 17, we stop in for a romp at the new Neighborhood Theatre (with a full main room dance floor with VIP tables, Bottle service, and a full liquor bar) in Charlotte, before heading down for a weekend two-night run at our old stomping grounds in Athens, Ga., the Georgia Theater. Then we head up to the headiest of heady towns for a 4/20 spectacular unlike any you have ever witnessed before. You bring the smoke, we'll have a toke, my friends, as we light up the Orange Peel for one very special hippy new years party!

The night before our Three Hour Tour begins, on April 15th, we make a quick stop-over in Falls Church, VA, trying on the State Theater for size. After decimating the Boulder Theater in Colorado, the guys in Conspirator commented that the State Theater in VA. was pretty much the same room, and the wheels were set in motion to take the roof off of that venue as well!

Tickets for the run will be on-sale tomorrow,Feb. 7th, at BiscoTix, and on Saturday Feb. 9th at Ticketmaster.

We will see you in the dirty south!"

Imagine that another good band not coming to the south. Everyone truly has forgotten about us in Louisiana, we like to see good shows to, even if you have to go to Texas for the love of god is Panic the only band that knows the dirty south still exists. I see more bands going oversees than coming in this neck of the woods. I mean really what is this about? NOLA needs everyones help especially the musicians!

Yes we do have one of the biggest music scenes thats why I can't understand why these bands won't give back to these communities that need help. And oh yeah it would suck to live in Maine.

I am super excited about the asheville show, as I just moved into town and have frequented the orange peel quite a bit in the last 3 months... But it will be an interesting scene because the Peel is a No Smoking venue ( cigs outside) and they are really strict on smoking inside. We will have to outnumber the security I guess...

I understand GA and SC are the south, but when you say this is a southern tour I excpect the dirty SOUTH FL, AL, MS, LA ok i would say GA is part of that, but not SC, NC, VA

These threads really are getting a lot better, still a few morons that think they have such a high musical opinion that they can sway others to dislike bands they currently like.

Montra1>>>"The night before our Three Hour Tour begins, on April 15, the band will make a quick stop-over in Falls Church, VA, trying on the State Theater for size." I guess they aren't including Falls Church in the 'Three Hour Tour'.

This looks like good times. Asheville for 4/20 is gonna be great for all you lucky peeps.

Who books these tours? Morons????????

Do the Bisco folks realize that they play the same places every year? Give the rest of the country a break and actually TOUR the USA!!!!! I'm not travelling to see the Biscuits again. They need to wise up and realize that they have the ability to actually play in new places.

omg vernixx you mean they play in places they actually sell out??? where they actually have fans??? gimme a break i been to a few of the south shows back in the days and there was probably 10 people at every show, plain and simple they just dont have the same crowd in some states. if all you people complain about were you live, MOVE, i live in NYC i get the cream of the crop here, not only does everyone play here all the time, but they always play their best. so stop your whining. p.s. MAINE is awesome, not a party town indeed, i remember going to one of the biggest party's there tho called the LEMONWHEEL in limestone

So for real peeps, the orange peel will pat you down straight to your balls, then if they see a smoker inside they will yank you by the neck, ban your ass, and still your cigarettes. Heady heads up. Oh yeah the south thing. This is halarious. Better than a bisco hatin thread. I was raised in the south. Tranceful, you'd know. Born in NC. Now I live in deep south Florida, and here, its not the south. The south is most definatley NC, SC, GA, AL, and northern FL we are the heart of it. Then if you want to count were southerners live, it could extend MS, TN, KY, VA, and most def backwoods WV. LA and TX are just diferent. Can't wait to see my holidaze friends in NJ and the NC shows, peace.

I think the south is below the Masion-dixie line. NC and SC are part of the south. During the civil war, VA,NC,SC were all part of the south. Tranceful you are the idiot....you live in the south...NC and SC are not refered to as the mid-atlantic states, they are refered to the SOUTH...You should just be happy that they are even coming you way...Too much crying and bitching going on here...Grow up....

The South Atlantic States: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Delaware

The East South Central States: Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee

The West South Central States: Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas

Enough said...Thats my geography lecture shortened for your viewing pleasure
