DAVE MATTHEWS & JACK JOHNSON TO HEADLINE KOKUA FESTIVAL IN OAHU

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will join Jack Johnson at the Fifth Annual Kokua Festival on April 19-20, 2008 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii. All proceeds from the Earth Day weekend festival will benefit the Kokua Hawai'i Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Jack and Kim Johnson to support environmental education programs in the schools and communities of Hawaii.

Other artists in the Kokua Festival lineup include Paula Fuga and Go Jimmy Go, and Brushfire Records' latest addition, the Hawaii-born, Minneapolis-based Mason Jennings.

Pre-sale tickets for the Kokua Festival will be available through Ticketmaster beginning February 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Hawaii time (2:00 p.m. ET) by clicking here and entering the password: AllAtOnce. The pre-sale will wrap up on February 15, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Hawaii time (10:00 p.m. ET). Tickets are $50 for reserved seats, $125 for tickets in the seated pit area, $40 for general admission/lawn, and $20 general admission for children 3-12. Children under age 3 are free. New this year, online ticket purchasers will have the option to add on $2 to offset their personal travel to the show.

i think what vollostom means is of course hawaii is the shit, but if you lived there i doubt you'd get to see that many shows. that much is true and would suck no matter where you lived
