MMJ Reveal Evil Urges

MY MORNING JACKET SELL OUT RADIO CITY IN 22 MINUTES
REVEAL NAME OF NEW ALBUM: EVIL URGES

My Morning Jacket
Louisville, Kentucky's My Morning Jacket has sold out their show at the legendary Radio City Music Hall on June 20, 2008 in just 22 minutes. It is a dream come true for the band, which have been recording music and touring relentlessly for nearly a decade.

We are also thrilled to reveal that My Morning Jacket's fifth LP will be titled Evil Urges. The album will be released on June 10 via ATO Records, and has been co-produced by frontman Jim James and the multi-Grammy winning Joe Chiccarelli, who has produced an array of artists including The Shins, Brian Wilson, and The White Stripes.

My Morning Jacket will continue to hit the festival circuit in 2008. They will once again play Coachella, which will be held April 25 – 27. You can also catch the band with Yo La Tengo at the Houston Verizon Wireless Center on March 10. Additionally, the band will be at this year's South by Southwest, performing at the Austin Music Hall on March 13; and Jim James will also play a special SXSW solo show at Austin's St. David's Church on March 15.

Tune in to Current TV tonight (January 29) at 10 p.m. to catch a glimpse of MMJ's special performance with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra at last year's Lollapalooza through the eyes of their fans during a one-of-a-kind "All Eyes On."
