Disappointed that my only chance to see them on Spring tour is at JazzFest, but overjoyed to see that Walnut Creek is *officially* Walnut Creek once again...no more "Alltel Pavilion."

I can't wait to see the boys this spring with lots of multi night shows. I wish they would swing out west in the springs so I can drive instead of fly. I also wonder if we will get a night show in NOLA

I wish they would play at Northerly Island instead of Chicago Theatre, That would be classic. I'll probably end up at the chicago theatre shows, though.

and as ussual. Just like most bands do, they disregard boston. I just dont understand it. I go to all the good shows around here and they are always packed. Yet for some reasons the good bands dont seem to want to play to us? Where ny, chi, LA and phili get 3 or 4 shows a years from alot of these guys, boston gets 1 if they are luckey. But it just doesnt make sense, the shows around here are always at least 90% full. And the club shows for bands like um, bisco and the like are always sold out with lines half a mile long at showtime... So what going on? Is it too cold? When you spit hot fire, like panic certainly does, the cold should not be a concern... Show us some love. ps, i feel really bad for the people who dont get any shows, shit, imagine living in north dakota... all they get is clearchanel aka new world order radio...

i dont give a god damn if this has nothing to do with the article!!! why the hell is jambase allowing thier advertisement space to be filled with blake lewis. To all you slaves out there who give people shit for criticizing what jambase covers i have one thing to say. This is your fault. How do you feel about a boyband peice of trash like this guy all over your favorite website? Keep whining about critical comments in the forums and youll all be doing the macarena to the backstreet boys who will be headlining the next bonnaroo... You stupid sheep slaves. Do not criticize this post unless you state whether or not you like blake lewis. If you like him, then go fuck yourself, if you dont like him then join me in criticizing jambase. First it was a huge writup about jayz which was completely inappropriate, now this sellout scumbag piece of crap all over the website.

shmo-kinn.. not sure if you got it, but that was a fairly obvious joke.. i never 'bitch' on jambase threads, just trying to make fun of those who do.. so many people whine about how jambase is changing directions and not covering jambands enough, when they probably cover more jam stuff than ever, along with some non-jam.

kcreb got it.

I have never posted a comment on Jambase, even though I have been a site-user for four years or so now. However, I felt compelled to comment about the Blake Lewis ad. That shit sucks. I not only encourage, but I APPLAUD Jambase for their coverage of all good music, jam-related or not. What the world calls "jambands" are not enough to satisfy my musical appetite. (It's such a muddied label, anyhow, with everything from funk to bluegrass being labeled "jam".) So, Jambase, please continue to cover and support GOOD music. But a Blake Lewis ad really throws a blow at both the credibility and respectability of the site. Don't insult your users by supporting music like that...we know better, and so do you.

Yeah! I hear ya Delaneyira! I was planning on centering a trip to Boston around the Panic show. But I will have to say you are not neglected in Boston as far as music goes! I've seen a Panic show in Boston twice in 2001, twice in 2003 and one more again in 2005. Also seen in Boston one or more times; Gov't Mule, Galactic, Denson, Other Ones, The Dead, moe. and Project Logic. Come down and live in southwest Virginia and feel the neglet we get! It sucks!

Shmo-kinn has problems with people ripping non-jam articles, but he has no problem prematurely ripping into a human being when he obviously didn't even read the entire post (which was a joke). Maybe you should make sure you understand something before you have an opinion about it...just a thought.

panic loves playing for their fanbase that is for sure. would love to see them out west more. i am just glad they are still out there having fun and making great music so i cant complain too much. one of my favorite bands of all time and 30+ shows later i love em more today than ever.

delayneyira - i understand your anger, and i respect most, if not all, of your views. i, too, am positively miffed and rather pissed as to why jambase would advertise for that blake tool.

but the fact is that you can't hate the people who have made this site what it is today - people who put their money, sweat and hard work into making it as kick-ass as it is. you can't hate them, especially, for trying to ACTUALLY make a little bit of money from it, god forbid. how long do you think making this site has taken out of these people's pockets? i'm sure that now, if anything, they're probably breaking even. possibly making some meager earnings.

but are you really going to blame them for that, the people who built this shit from the ground up? if you are, and you hate it so much, then don't come back here. i appreciate what you're trying to do, i really do. i'm the biggest anti-sheep, the most anti-new world order. but this website isn't ushering in this new realm of new world order ignorance and complicity. if anything they're doing their best to reverse it, by promoting the most magical art of them all - live fuckin' music. if anything can turn someone on to thinking differently in 0.5 seconds, it's a live show.

now 99% of the people who frequent jambase are going to see blake lewis' preppy, pink and diamond clad face and say: "wow that guy must make some shitty music, i'll remember his name so i never listen to it," get a chuckle and check the newswire for posts like this WIDESPREAD PANIC update here.

now channel your rage and put it into something useful, like campaigning for ron paul.
