Crowes One Night Only Shows

Black Crowes by Jake Krolick
For the first time in their 18-year career, The Black Crowes will perform an album in its entirety. On a special run of "One Night Only" shows beginning March 2 and wrapping March 20, fans will experience Warpaint, the group’s first album of all new studio material in seven years (being released March 4), in its entirety onstage. The band will also perform a second set of songs from their vast catalog. There will be only seven of these unique performances.

In the midst of this trek, the band will headline at Stubb's BBQ on March 15 as part of SXSW in Austin. The Crowes launch their overseas tour on March 24 when they headline the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival in Australia. They’ll continue their Down Under trek - their first since 1991 - through April 5, and conclude with exclusive performances in London, UK at Brixton Academy on April 9 and The Amsterdam Music Hall on April 11. A major market multiple night U.S. tour will begin in May, with cities and venues to be announced in the near future.

Visit the newly revamped to hear "Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution," the lead off track from Warpaint, currently streaming on the site.

21mmer - It is refferening to 7 concerts when they will perform the new album in its entirty. More to the point ... the news brief says "One Night Only ..." not one-time only ...Open your eyes and read.

See ya in NYC and Boston ...

the original release, before it was revised and modified, said "one-time-only"......clearly, jambase decided to correct this confusing statement.

thanks anyway for the advice tourfan.

Very exciting news. The Black Crowes are the best rock and roll band out there. Counting the days until March 4.

these should be truly exciting shows. Not only will the band debut all the new material, but they will be playing their first complete shows with Luther Dickinson on lead/slide guitar! Really wish they were coming within 300 miles of me.

I'd catch the Austin show but I leave for Amsterdam / Jam In The Dam the night before. The last show they played here at The Backyard was (setlist-wise) the best Crowes show I'd ever seen!!! Heavy on SH&MC and Amorica

No Speak No Slave

Sting Me

My Morning Song

Darling Of The Underground Press

She Gave Good Sunflower

Soul Singing

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

Wiser Time

Jam -> Thorn In My Pride

Luther is an official member of the Crowes. He'll be doing double duty in NMAS and Crowes for the forseeable future. And I just spoke with him this morning about new Allstars album (feature coming in a couple weeks) and he's psyched as hell about all of it!

I've been to their new website 3 times now since reading this article just to listen to the 1 teaser song they have streaming off their new album. If its any indication of what the rest of the album will sound like its gonna be awesome. Great Tune!!!!
