moe. and the biscuits are buddys and enjoy hanging out, moe. likes them more than they like you. and i love moe. but alls vocals can be obnoxious and almost as bad as magners at times. although moe. does have better vocals, both bands to listnen to for the jams

obviously none of you know how hard it really is to sing in tune. moe. does this very well, and I think are underrated singers. they have great falcetta voices and great harmonies/backups.

I agree milesgone-- the popularity contest and censorship game that the "thumbs/show/hide" thing has become is ridiculous; don't take it personally in this online "community". In regards to the vocals, I personally think Derhak has become an excellent vocalist, not always technically proficient, but very fun and charged up rock and roll singing. I also enjoy Chuck's approach to vocals most of the time. I don't think the band would argue that they are anything besides a good time rock and roll band, particularly with the singing.

LiberalsforMichaelSavage08-- a definiton of a good song is based on objectivity and empirical evidence, and you've got that science nailed? Nice try pal. Oh wait, I guess moe. fans are all a bunch of idiots and you are above that status, right? People like what they like, and who cares why? I'm sorry that gets under your skin so much.

I think moe. does a great job with their vocals. They aren't perfect, but as stated before they are fun, and usually not out of tune actually. It's funny that someone mentioned TDB, because I really can't stand the singer's voice..he has been out of tune every time I've heard them and it hurts my ears. Now that is just my experience of them, I'm not saying they suck or anything, just not my thing! I enjoy a few of their songs.

anywho, love moe! I really dont think the "singing" with them on stage is going to be something to have a good singing voice for, considering the name of the song. I imagine it just being a choir of people yelling and chanting some lyrics, punk rock/traditional drinking song style. something in the vein of "yo ho ho, and a bottle of rum!!". should be fun!

oh and also,

I think that its cool that moe. is giving the fans a chance to do this! Yes, they may sing the same song for a good portion of the tour, but do you know how happy the moe.rons who get to sing with them are going to be??? It's probably a dream come true for a lot of people. I don't see it as pure marketing, I really think moe. is thinking more about the fans than the money made in pre-sales. The people who would buy pre-sale cd's normally are most likely the same people who would be siked to sing on stage anyway, ha.

singing in tune is only difficult for people who can't do it. and it's falsetto.

Not going to get drawn into the arguments but for anyone who didn't know, they've added the vinyl to the pre-order section and is still with the laminate offer. Which is nice.
