Poor Man's Whiskey |
Bay Area bluegrass badasses Poor Man's Whiskey will revive their celebrated live interpretation of Pink Floyd's legendary Dark Side Of The Moon at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Friday, January 11, 2008.
The special performance originated last May at the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma, CA, and features liquid lights, costumes, lasers, a fog machine and anything else these American Music wild boys can stuff into the mix. Joining them for this show will be Nat Keefe and Aaron Redner of Hot Buttered Rum and James Nash from the Waybacks.
Poor Man's Whiskey will play both before and after doing Dark Side in its entirety, for a total of three sets sure to be full of surprises. The theme of the evening is The Wizard of Oz and attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite L. Frank Baum character. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
