Umphrey's McGee Launches UMLive App For iOS

Last September the always innovative Umphrey's McGee organization unveiled a new version of their UMLive site that included a subscription option in which Umphreaks could gain "unfettered access" to the band's archive of live recordings. At the time, the band noted tablet and mobile access was coming soon and today Umphrey's has launched an UMLive iOS app.

Those who subscribe can stream over 1,000 UM live recordings and the band's studio discography using the iOS app. Subscriptions cost $10 a month or $100 per year. Those who want to give the service a try, can use a free 10-day trial to do so. "An Android version is planned for the future but is not yet currently available," according to the band's website.
