Couch Tour Alert | RockyGrass Festival

This weekend the RockyGrass music festival returns to Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, CO boasting a lineup that includes Hot Rize, Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Ricky Skaggs & Bruce Hornsby with Kentucy Thunder and many others. While tickets to the festival sold out way back in January, there's an option to listen in to the action at RockyGrass.

Radio station KGNU is offering a live continuous stream from the RockyGrass stage at The audio webcast runs tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. MT tomorrow, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. MT on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. MT on Sunday. In addition, hosts an archive of past RockyGrass performances from the likes of The Del McCoury Band, Dr. Ralph Stanley & His Clinch Mountain Boys, Punch Brothers, Tim O'Brien and more.

"We're thrilled to be working with Planet Bluegrass again to let people get an earful of this amazing festival, and I'm really excited that we are expanding our coverage to offer the live stream from the stage this year," said John Schaefer, KGNU's Music Director in a statement. "This will be a powerful year at RockyGrass. I remember seeing a video online of the festival grounds completely engulfed in the flood. There was a sinking feeling that Planet Bluegrass was literally being wiped from the map. So to have the festival back, and back stronger than ever is incredible."
