guitarist Al Schnier made the most of his trip by heading over to Terrapin
Crossroads on Sunday afternoon for a special Happy Hour performance with Phil Lesh
and the Terrapin Family Band.
Schnier teamed with Phil Lesh, Grahame Lesh, Ross James and Alex Koford for a 75-minute
performance at the San Rafael, CA venue. Al handled lead vocals on both "Deal" and
"Sugaree" during the lone set, which also featured covers by the likes of The Band ("Up On
Cripple Creek"), Bob Dylan ("Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues"), Neil Young ("Down By The
River") and The Velvet Underground ("Sweet Jane"). Outside of "Deal" and "Sugaree," "Dire
