In advance of this summer's Salmonstock music festival, event organizers have announced a
Salmonstock Spring Tour featuring Great American Taxi. The five-piece will visit five venues across
later this month in support of Salmonstock, which celebrates wild Alaskan salmon and the
people who depend on them. The festival and tour are presented by the Renewable Resources
Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting wild Alaskan salmon habitat from the
proposed Pebble Mine and other potential threats.
Great American Taxi is a fitting band for the tour, since they've performed at each past
Salmonstock festival. The run starts on May 15 at Tap Root in Anchorage and will visit the
Alaskan towns of Talkeetna, Fairbands, Kasilof and Homer before it concludes.
Here's the list of Salmonstock Spring Tour Dates featuring Great American Taxi:
May 15th - Tap Root - Anchorage
May 16th - Sheldon Arts Hangar - Talkeetna
May 17th - Blue Loon - Fairbanks
May 19th - Decanter Inn - Kasilof
May 20th - Down East Saloon - Homer
