JAWDROPPING GUITARIST RELEASES NEW ALBUM IN MARCH
Kaki King by Tobin Voggesser |
Dreaming of Revenge, Kaki King's fourth full-length album, will be released March 4, 2008 on Velour Music. Celebrated Daniel Lanois acolyte Malcolm Burn (Emmylou Harris, Chris Whitley, Bob Dylan) will produce. Like 2006's Until We Felt Red, half the tracks will be instrumental and half will include vocals.
King recently finished a tour of Holland and is heading for series of headlining dates in Australia in December. She also made an appearance on the new Foo Fighters record, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, on an acoustic duet with Dave Grohl titled "The Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners." In 2007, King also lent her talents to Northern State's Can I Keep This Pen?, Tegan and Sara's The Con and Eddie Vedder's soundtrack to Into The Wild.
King also recently appeared on the venerated BBC program Later With Jools Holland performing "Playing With Pink Noise." Click here to see the clip.
