Dark Star Orchestra with Bob Weir :: 4.11.14 :: Great American Music Hall :: San Francisco, CA

Quintessential Grateful Dead tribute act Dark Star Orchestra was joined by guitarist Bob Weir at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall on Friday night. Bobby filled in for Rob Eaton on "Beat It On Down The Line" and "Me And My Uncle" towards the end of the first set before Eaton came back for three-guitar action on "That's It For The Other One" and "Deal." One-time Grateful Dead manager Sam Cutler introduced Dark Star Orchestra for a show that featured a setlist similar to the one the Dead played on March 1, 1969 at the Fillmore West. DSO's three-night stand at GAMH continued on Saturday with a show that saw TLG bassist Reed Mathis guest on a "White Rabbit" encore.
