Umphrey's McGee to Launch Label at Brooklyn Bowl Party

Umphrey’s McGee will launch their new record label, Nothing Too Fancy Music at a party at the Brooklyn Bowl, Sunday May 4. The band will host UMBowl V at the Brooklyn Bowl the night prior, Saturday, May 3. For the launch party, the band will provide, gratis, Blue-Ribbon food, an open bar (from 7:30 pm to 12:00 am) and bowling. There will also be Headphones & Snowcones stations set up around the venue for advance listening to the band’s forthcoming studio LP, Similar Skin. UM will perform two Bill GrahUM selected sets “for a blow-out worthy of a new album on our own label.”

Tickets, which go on sale April 8th at 10:00 am CT at via the Similar Skin Pre-Order, are being capped at 400 for the 600 person capacity room. All tickets will include Nothing Too Fancy Music’s first full-length release, a deluxe copy of Similar Skin, a label branded t-shirt, a limited edition event pin and MP3 downloads.
