Blood Meridian :: Liquidate Paris

Welcome to former JamBase "New Favorite Band" Blood Meridian's third album Liquidate Paris, where Black Mountain's Josh, Matt and gang take you on a nine song journey deep into the land of psyche-weird-countryesque-folk. This time around Blood Meridian delve into an early 60's vibe where fans of early Bob Seger System will find comfort in the grooves of Liquidate Paris. This record began as more of an experiment, tracking to a Tascam 8 track cassette recorder in early 2007 in a moldy basement beneath a crack infested street in Vancouver which really helped produce the overall spooky vibe.

Limited to 1000 each Vinyl LP and CD.

Well, I do for one. If all you want to listen to is String Cheese and Umphrey's go ahead but there's a lot of other music out there. I happen to think Blood Meridian is a great band and if you don't care or know anything about them, shut up.

I always like these articles on bands you rarely hear about. It really does give you the opportunity to head on over to their website and sample some new music. That is what I've been doing with each new article on a band that I'm unfamiliar with. I don't like everything I hear, but I'd say it was well worth the electrons used to post this article.
