Secret Machines Add Guitar

Secret Machines Add Guitar, Continue Work On New Album

The Secret Machines
The Secret Machines have added guitarist Phil Karnats (ex-Tripping Daisy) to replace original member Ben Curtis who left the band to join School of Seven Bells.

The Machines are currently at New York's Magic Shop studio with producer Brandon Mason, who produced Ten Silver Drops, at work on their third LP due on Reprise next year. The album will feature live staple "Now You're Gone" as well as a guest appearance by producer/Secret Machines fan Tony Visconti.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! Anyone else checked out the school of seven bells site? i heard that they were more of a pop project before. not at all true. some really interesting music. i'm excited to see them, and to see the new incarnation of SM.
