Audio | Railroad Earth Covers Old And In The Way

This past weekend Railroad Earth celebrated Thanksgiving in Stroudsburg, PA with their 3rd annual Horn-A-Plenty festival. The event included two full shows at The Sherman Theater. On Saturday night RRE dedicated their first set to covering Old And In The Way's stellar eponymous album from 1973 with one of the members of that band - Peter Rowan.

Rowan helped out on the entire first set, while Yungchen Lhamo emerged on vocals for the "Land Of The Navajo" set-closer. The second set featured material from throughout RRE's career including debuts of the Todd Sheaffer-penned "Chasin' A Rainbow" and "One More Night On The Road." Peter Rowan came back out for a three-song segment in the closing stanza that featured a take on "Cold Rain And Snow."
