The JB List | Bear Creek 2013 Musical Highlights

South Florida Music Videographer Adam Firtel of CHeeSeHeaDPRoDuCTioNS provided us with some Top Moments from this year's installment of the Bear Creek Music & Art Festival, which took place last weekend at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.

1. Disco-funk newcomers Space Capone performing "I Just Wanna Dance" in The Technaflora Music Hall late Thursday evening, November 14:

2. San Francisco-based psychedelic soul outfit Monophonics, led by keyboard player Kelly Finnigan, covering Sonny & Cher's "Bang Bang" (made popular by Nancy Sinatra) on Uncle Charlie's Porch Stage at sundown on Friday night, November 15:

3. 15-piece Afrobeat mainstays and Daptone recording artists Antibalas performing their original "Dirty Money" on Friday evening, November 15, on the Big IV Amphitheater Stage:

4. New Orleans' Galactic featuring special guest vocalist David Shaw of The Revivalists encoring their Friday night set on the Amphitheater Stage with Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks":

5. Friday night's Karl Denson's Tiny Universe set on the Purple Hat Stage paid tribute to Ray Charles with guest vocalist Zach Deputy and accompanied by female audience members singing along on "Hit the Road Jack":

6. The Funkiest Saturday Of The Year certainly lived up to its billing as Parliament Funkadelic bass man Bootsy Collins and his The Funk Unity Band performed a series of P-Funk hits along with special guest keytar player and former bandmate Bernie Worrell:

7. The biggest buzz of the festival came Saturday night as Philadelphia-based hip-hop outfit and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon house band The Roots were led by the inimitable Questlove on drums. Here is their take on Kool & The Gang's "Jungle Boogie":

8. Attendees of this year's Bear Creek Music & Art Festival were treated with more beautiful weather on the final day of the festival as Jennifer Hartswick and her band, along with George Porter Jr., played a series of covers including Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine":
