Last month reported on singer/songwriter Todd
Snider's new project. Hard Working Americans finds Snider
joined by Dave Schools of Widespread Panic (bass), Neal Casal of The Chris Robinson
Brotherhood (guitars/vox), Chad Staehly of Great American Taxi (keys) and Duane Trucks of
King Lincoln and of the Trucks family lineage (drums). In our report we mentioned that the
band expected to hit the road early next year and today Hard Working Americans have
announced their first tour.
Before the tour kicks off, HWA will make their live debut on December 20 at the Boulder
Theater in Boulder, CO to benefit the Foothills Flood Relief Fund to assist
victims of the recent floods that ravaged the area. Tickets for the show go
on sale tomorrow.
The tour itself begins on January 23 in New York City and visits Boston, Philadelphia, Los
Angeles, San Francisco and Atlanta before it's currently scheduled to wrap on February 21
in Nashville. Tickets for all the shows except for San Francisco go on sale this Friday
with tickets for the Bay Area performance set for an October 27 on-sale.
