Full Show Friday | Pink Floyd Live In Saint Tropez 1970

Before the commercial success of the more accessible Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall LPs, iconic rockers Pink Floyd focused on more experimental and psychedelic music on Atom Heart Mother. Released in 1970, the album marked a major progression for the band's sound and showed off the impressive musicality of each member.

Just before the release of Atom Heart Mother, Pink Floyd visited the French city of Saint Tropez for a performance at the Saint Tropez Festival de Musique on August 8th, 1970. The set was broadcast on French TV and shows off masterful work by drummer Nick Mason as the band works through "Atom Heart Mother," unreleased track "The Embryo," "Green Is The Colour," "Careful With That Axe, Eugene" and "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun." For this week's Full Show Friday selection, let's watch Pink Floyd Live In Saint Tropez 1970:
