Richmond Fontaine
El Cortez Records is pleased to announce the release of the first solo record from Richmond Fontaine bassist Dave Harding. Across The Road was recorded in the Spring of 2007 at Mike Coykendall's Blue Room Studios in Portland. The album features Harding on vocals, bass and guitar, as well as Richmond Fontaine's Sean Oldham on drums, Scott Hampton on guitar, Skip Von Kuske on cello, and Kirk VanDerveer and Michael Jodell on vocals. Willy Vlautin of Richmond Fontaine guests on vocals on the title song.

The 10 rootsy original songs on Across The Road form a tribute to a friend and former bandmate of Harding's.
