Seminal NYC rockers Television haven't performed in the U.S. since 2007, but that will
change in November when Tom Verlaine and Co. play three shows in America.
Over the course of the five years between 1973 and 1978, before they originally broke up,
the Verlaine/Richard Hell-led band brought a level of technical proficiency to raw rock
hadn't been seen up until that point. Look no further than the iconic dual lead guitar

Television will play San Francisco's The Independent on November 5 before heading to the
Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA for their first Southeastern U.S. show since 1993 on
7. The brief run comes to an end with an appearance at Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest some time
between November 8 and 10. The group, which currently consists of Verlaine, Billy Ficca,
Fred Smith and Jimmy Ripa, will also play a handful of shows outside of the US including
