Gregg Allman Announces Solo Jaunt

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Gregg Allman is getting his mojo back after years of health issues. Not only did he come through the Allman Brothers Band's Beacon Run with flying colors this past March, but he's lined up a number of shows this summer. In addition to the previously announced Allman Brothers Band summer tour, he'll hit the road with his solo band for 11 shows.

Allman, who released Low Country Blues in 2011, will make a rare West Coast appearance on May 25 at Indio, CA's Fantasy Springs Casino. He then will return to the road on June 21 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA for a two-week swing that takes him through the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic before coming to a close on July 5 in Columbus, OH. Gregg also has a one-off gig scheduled for July 27 at Rangeley Health and Wellness Pavilion in Rangeley, ME.
