A Truly Out Of This World Cover From Space Station

ASTRONAUT COVERS "SPACE ODDITY"
WHILE FLOATING IN SPACE

This evening, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield stepped down as commander of the International Space Station after five months in charge of Expedition 35. Hadfield frequently used social media to document his experience and has even uploaded a few videos to YouTube.

In addition to his work as an astronaut, Hadfield's also a talented musician. He performed with Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies from space shortly into his trip and for his finale has shared an amazing cover tune with us.

With the help of the Canadian Space Agency, Chris Hadfield performed a version of David Bowie's 1969 classic "Space Oddity." We see some amazing shots as Hadfield floats around the International Space Station.

Without further ado, here's Chris Hadfield's cover of "Space Oddity."
