SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND PERFORM
1984 ALBUM IN ITS ENTIRETY TO FINISH STOCKHOLM RUN
Last week we told you about the first two shows of legendary
rockers Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's three-show run at
Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden. At the first two shows of the run, The Boss and his band
had a huge surprise in store for their
fans as they performed the 1975 LP Born To Run in its entirety on night one and
followed that up by tackling 1978's Darkness On The Edge Of Town last Saturday.
After breaking up the run with a pair of shows in Finland, Springsteen returned to Friends
Arena last night to close out the stand. Within the E Street Band's main set, the group
performed 1984's Born In The U.S.A. album in its entirety.
The Boss had mentioned during the first two shows how much the Swedish fans meant to him
and by performing arguably his three best albums in their entirety for the Stockholm
crowd, he made sure the three-show run was special.
Bruce used the rest of the set to present a mix of his greatest hits, a handful of songs
from his most recent album and a few rarities including "Cadillac Ranch."
Take a look at the setlist from last night's show.
